RatesOur rates vary depending on the required services as
well as the degree of difficulty of the text to be translated or edited.
It is impossible to apply a single rate to all scenarios. However, on
request we can provide you with certain price ranges to assist in estimating
the costs of a project. Quoting MethodsWe use four main quoting methods for calculating the cost of a job or parts thereof:
For general translations (e.g., web sites, company catalogs, operating manuals), we prefer to use word rates but line rates are also acceptable. Page rates are normally only used to calculate layout and DTP jobs. We prefer to use an hourly price for marketing text and ad copy where the “translation” work often involves considerable amounts of reformulation and localization. We also use an hourly rate for copy editing jobs unless the text is very straightforward. If you are unsure which pricing model applies to your job, just ask us! RatesThe following rates are for translation and proofreading.
